What I know about the Grinder...

The Grinder was built several years ago by Glenn Palmer and was never really intended for use in play. It was more or less built to prove a point.

Many years ago there was a tournament rule that said something like "only one paintball can be shot per barrel per trigger pull." This rule kept double barrel and full auto paintball guns from being used in tournaments. Well, now comes the Grinder.

The Grinder is basically 3 Typhoons bolted together and shot by using a crank. Now doesn't this violate the rule? No, it doesn't. The reason is that each barrel has it's own trigger! What the crank does is automatically pull each trigger when it's cranked. This is what made the Grinder special.

Palmer's has jokingly said that they would build you a Grinder if you would like one. But at $3000, they suddenly seem less appealing.

If you have any additional info about the Grinder or if anything I have here is incorrect, please email me.

Some of the below pictures were borrowed from Brent Hoefling's (aka Rambo Preacher's) web site. There are more pictures here. Brent also had a new Grinder made! You can find some pics and info here! Keep in mind Brent is personal friends with Glenn Palmer and that is a big part of why Glenn has agreed to build one for him at a price of $3000.
