Trigger Upgrade
Trigger springs are under pressure, caution must be used!

1) With trigger housing removed from reciever remove trigger rails from housing. (See trigger diagram)

2) Remove pin 15, (see fig.3) hold primary sear (4) down then push secondary sear (8) forward and let primary sear up slowly to release primary sear spring (6). Push pin (5) out and remove sear and spring.

3) If your gun has a black trigger skip to next step.
If your gun has a chrome trigger replace sear stop (7) with supplied stop by pushing pin (1) out just far enough to remove stop. DO NOT PUSH PIN ALL THE WAY OUT! After you install new stop push pin back through, make sure you hold secondary sear spring (10) under pin.

4) Use the supplied 3/16" drill bit and drill existing holes for pin (15), slip new 3/16" pin in to check fit. Clean trigger housing and reassemble primary sear and new pin. Install trigger assembly on to receiver.

5) If your VM has a chrome trigger you now need to (with the upper bolt and hammer removed) depress trigger and look in rear of gun and make sure primary sear is flush or below receiver. This is important, if it sticks up above the receiver it will drag on the hammer and cause excessive drag and wear. If it does stick up you will need to reinstall the stock sear stop. Its rare for this to happen. If it does happen its because the primary sear is one of the thick styles usually found on early PMI3's and early VM68's.

6) Follow instructions in Figure 4 to adjust trigger stops. Not adjusting trigger properly will cause double firing.
